Calling all Whovians! Everyone’s favorite doctor is coming to Magic: The Gathering in 2023!

During today’s “Wizards Presents” event, Wizards of the Coast revealed that Doctor Who will be the next franchise to get the Universes Beyond product treatment. The collaboration will put “doctors, companions, villains, locations, and more” onto Magic cards in four Commander decks, Collector Boosters, and a Secret Lair drop.
Wizards says the Doctor Who products will have “flavor and fun for fans of every Doctor from across 60 years of Doctor Who stories.”
The arrival of Doctor Who in Magic’s multiverse comes hot on the heels of Magic’s crossovers with both Street Fighter and Warhammer 40k. Street Fighter received a Secret Lair drop earlier this year, while Warhammer 40k’s four Commander decks and three Secret Lair drops are scheduled to release in October 7 and 17, respectively.
The Doctor Who Universes Beyond products will be available sometime in 2023. A more specific date and pricing details have yet to be announced.
