Hello Podwalkers,

Welcome back to the Goblin Lore Podcast. During the introduction to last week’s episode our hosts discussed the importance of taking a more active stance when it comes to social issues. DeQuan Watson (one of the hosts of the Color of Magic podcast) had put out a message stating that he is willing to talk with people who might have questions, both about what they can do and about the presence of Content Creators of Color. In part one of a two part series the hosts discuss with DeQuan representation of Characters of Color in Magic Lore with a fair amount of tangential seeming stories that are very important to the overall discussion. In Pt 2 we will be back with mailbag questions and actionable advice.

Again we would like to state that Black Lives Matter (with a link to where you can offer support both monetary and not).

As promised, we plan to keep these Mental Health Links available moving forward too. For general Mental Health the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) has great resources for people struggling with mental health concerns as well as their families. We also want to draw attention to this article on stigma from NAMI’s site.

If you’re thinking about suicide or just need someone to talk to right now, you can get support from any of the resources below.
