Wizards of the Coast has revealed the Throne of Eldraine Deluxe Edition, which will be available on October 2, 2019 for $449.99 only at magicstore.wizards.com.
The Throne of Eldraine Deluxe Edition will contain a wide range of Magic: the Gathering collectibles. It will include two cards—a non-foil version of Kenrith, the Returned King (the Buy-a-Box promo) and a borderless Garruk, Cursed Huntsman—an art print of Garruk, an Ultra Pro binder, a three-by-three cutout from a rare and mythic Throne of Eldraine foil sheet, and 16 Collector Boosters.
It will also include an MTG Arena code card, which will reward you with Garruk exquisite sleeves (like Chandra’s from last season), plus the following cards (and a card style for each): Garruk, Cursed Huntsman, Charming Prince, Magic Mirror, Witch’s Vengeance, Bonecrusher Giant, and Questing Beast.
The Throne of Eldraine Deluxe Edition will be available on magicstore.wizards.com at a time to be announced later on October 2 for $449.99. The store will use the same queuing system as the sale of the SDCC promos used earlier this month. It will be limited one per person and will ship internationally to 23 countries in Europe, plus Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand in the APAC region, as well as to the US and Canada.
An Evolution from Mythic Editions

The new Throne of Eldraine Deluxe Edition is the latest evolution of Wizards’ premium collectible product strategy.
Previously, Wizards released Mythic Editions for Guilds of Ravnica, Ravnica Allegiance, and War of the Spark. They included eight foil, extended-art borderless Planeswalkers as well as 24 draft boosters of the associated set and sold for $249.99.
The Deluxe Edition is a significant departure from those previous Mythic Editions, both in price and contents. The bulk of the $200 price difference comes in the form of Collector Boosters, though they added non-card collectibles, like a binder and art print, as well.
There are 16 Collector Boosters included in the Deluxe Edition, which currently retail for around $35 each but were originally expected to cost in the $20-25 range. They contain extended-art borderless cards—that were previously exclusive to Mythic Editions—as well as Showcase Cards, which in Throne of Eldraine are cards with alternate Adventure frames.

Collector Boosters are a new kind of Magic booster pack debuting with Throne of Eldraine. They have increased odds of premium foil cards and guarantee borderless and showcase card styles. They are also the only place where you can find the extended art card style on non-Planeswalker cards.
Collector Boosters contain 15 cards, plus one foil token card:
- 1 Rare/Mythic Rare with Extended Art
- 1 Foil Rare/Mythic Rare
- 9 Foil Commons/Uncommons
- 3 Special Frame Cards (Borderless Planeswalkers or Showcase Cards)
- 1 Ancillary Card (Buy-a-Box promo, or a card from the Brawl or Planeswalker preconstructed decks)
- 1 Foil Token
