The Team Modern Super League continues today at 9 PM Eastern (GMT -4) on twitch.tv/magic.
Welcome back to the Modern Team Super League 2! Week 7 pits the Brothers Who Bash (Corey Baumeister, Brian Braun-Duin, and Brad Nelson) against the Brew Crew (Pleasant Kenobi, Caleb Durward, Saffron Olive, Corbin Hosler). Both teams are 1-0 and are playing for a direct berth into the semifinals.
In case you missed it, Wizards of the Coast banned Bridge from Below from Modern yesterday. The card was a key combo piece in the extremely popular Hogaak Bridgevine deck, which has featured prominently in Team Modern Super League 2 since Modern Horizons became legal. As a result, both teams were given an extra day to submit their decklists and neither team brought a deck featuring either Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis, Altar of Dementia, or Vengevine.
