Today on Weekly MTG, Wizards of the Coast announced that Greg Weisman, author of the Ravnica: War of the Spark novel, would also be writing the weekly installments of the story at mtgstory.com. The chapters, which Blake Rasmussen described as “hidden chapters” of War of the Spark, tell the story of War of the Spark from the perspective of Rat, a character Weisman introduce in the novel.
The Magic Story resumes on May 8th, a few weeks after the release of Ravnica: War of the Spark on April 23rd. Rat, the nickname of Araithia Shokta, is a native of Ravnica who helps the planeswalker Teyo Verada learn more about the City of Guilds.
Greg Weisman is an American author best known for his work on the Gargoyles animated series and the Star Wars Rebels animated series.
