Week Six!
More than halfway through, should be smooth sailing from here right?
This week we changed:
Maindeck:
+2 Windswept Heath
-2 Llanowar Wastes
The two Windswept Heaths put us back $21 (or 13 MTGO Tix).
The plan from here on out is to budget every week for a way to produce white mana or white sideboard options. Having access to Eidolon of Rhetoric, Kataki, War’s Wage, Rest in Peace, Selfless Spirit, Burrenton Forge-Tender, and Aven Mindscensor means that we could potentially win otherwise terrible match-ups. It turns out that on MTGO we face a lot of these bad match-ups on a weekly basis—Storm, Living End, UW Control—and I’m so sick of losing.
Here is the most recent list:

A quick disclaimer before the videos, this week it goes really bad. I mostly kept my composure but this league was demoralizing, like contemplate quitting Magic demoralizing. I’m sure there’s a screencap in here somewhere of the saddest I’ve been playing Magic.
