The Friday of Grand Prix New Jersey I brought three large boxes of Magic cards to the MTG FIRST booth and traded them in.
It was sort of heart-breaking but that was just sentiment fucking with me.
I traded in thousands of useless cards for two cards I’ve wanted since I started playing Magic.
I woke up the following Monday and saw this on Star City Games’s website:
My Black Lotus was picked up for $3100.00 in trade-in credit. It’s value had more than doubled in a couple of days.
I’m going to keep my Black Lotus because I love it.
Very best,
Matt
